Simultaneous Performance and Stability Enhancement in Intermediate Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells by Powder-Atomic Layer Deposited LSCF@ZrO2 Cathodes (Small Methods 1/2024)

In article number 2300790, Jung, An, and co-workers report a novel powder atomic layer deposition (powder ALD) process for obtaining high performance and durable porous composite electrode based on La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3−δ powders for solid oxide fuel cells. The cell with power ALD ZrO2-coated cathode exhibits 2.2 times higher power density and 60% lower thermal degradation compared to the reference cell.
