Surface Fluidic Microneedle Patches for Lymphatic Delivery of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Agents (Adv. Funct. Mater. 50/2025)
In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202513324), Jae Yong Jeon, Hyunsik Yoon, and co-workers present a surface fluidic microneedle patch (SFMNP). The micro- and nano-grooves on the SFMNP synergistically maximize capillary force, allowing ICG (green square molecules) to be injected into lymphatic vessels effectively. It enables precise infusion into the interstitium, real-time tracking, and minimally invasive delivery, optimized for lymphatic-targeted therapy and diagnostics.
