Neural Activity Mapping: Artifact‐Free 2D Mapping of Neural Activity In Vivo through Transparent Gold Nanonetwork Array
Jung‐Yong Lee, Hyunjoo J. Lee, and co‐workers demonstrate a transparent microelectrode array using a gold nano‐network structure for simultaneous 2D mapping of electrocorticograms during optical neuromodulation. This microelectrode array exhibits not only high transmittance for negligible light‐induced photoelectric artifacts but also low electrochemical impedance to achieve neural recordings with high signal‐to‐noise ratios.
