Front Cover: Engineering MoFe Nanostructures on Carbon Cloth for Sustainable Ammonia Production via Nitrogen Reduction (ChemCatChem 9/2025)
- Shinyoung Kweon
- Nilam Qureshi
- Jun Ho Shim
The Front Cover illustrates a MoFe/CC catalyst grown directly on carbon cloth and functioning as an efficient electrode for electrochemical ammonia synthesis. The optimized MoFe(7:3)/CC electrode enhances NH3 selectivity by suppressing the hydrogen evolution reaction at neutral pH. This catalyst achieves a high NH3 production rate and Faradaic efficiency, thus demonstrating its potential for sustainable ammonia synthesis. More information can be found in the Research Article by S. Kweon, N. Qureshi and J. H. Shim (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.202401936).
