Hierarchical Nanostructures as Acoustically Manipulatable Multifunctional Agents in Dynamic Fluid Flow (Adv. Mater. 50/2024)
Flower-like hierarchical nanostructure microparticles, composed of 2D nanosheets, can be trapped by focused ultrasound and maneuvered against blood flow. Their unique nanostructure enables efficient trapping of microparticles in high-velocity fluid environments, while the large surface area and biocompatibility make them ideal as acoustically manipulatable agents for medical imaging and microrobotics applications. More details can be found in article number 2404514 by Daniel Razansky, Metin Sitti, and co-workers.
